Driven piles allow for load transfers from weak soil layers to layers of soil or rock that can handle the load and are suitable foundations for both land and water environments. Piling is an alternative to deep foundation drilling when the size, scope and site conditions allow. With our in-house diesel hammers, IFS has the capabilities to drive pile at an energy rating of up to 75,000 ft/lbs and the resources to source greater capacity equipment for larger jobs.
