Worley N. to Setters

This project consists of pre-boring, pile driving and shoring. The pre-boring consisted of drilling 645 M through overburden and rock. Casings were driven through the overburden to the top of rock. The inside was drilled out using a down hole hammer and advanced into rock. The pile driving consisted of 1572 M of H-pile. Piles were driven through the overburden as well as through the pre-bored holes. A permanent retaining wall was constructed of soldier pile and wood lagging. The soldier pile was installed in 30” diameter holes with a minimum of a 5’rock sockets.
